We created the Pomd’Amour match-making agency in the summer of 2006, a time when many were concerned about losing touch with the Lebanon we know and love.  Increasingly helpless in the face of events, Lebanese were kept away from their country and apart from their fellows, separated by political and/or economic realities.  Isolation and worry about the future created a mindset that touched Lebanese people in all corners of the world.
To address the growing anxiety, a group of psychologists and other professionals got together and developed a service to serve as a link for like-minded Lebanese to meet, connect, communicate and associate.  Pomd’Amour aims to help its subscribers shorten distances, strengthen ties ultimately, to find a life companion, wherever in the world he or she may be. 
An ambitious – sounding goal, I know, but with my background as an events organizer and public relations manager in Saudi Arabia, France, and here in Lebanon, with support from the Coup de Pouce SARL management company and, most of all, with our team’s strong desire to help, we believe we can be of service.

We have been operating since February 14th, 2007.
